Claire’s excellence in the field of optometry is well known nationwide. She is certainly one of very few best qualified optometrists in the UK. Post-graduate qualifications in behavioural optometry and therapeutic prescribing add to her academic achievements. In addition, Claire is now studying for her doctorate, a five-year research degree, looking at the causes of learning difficulties, dyslexia and dyspraxia especially in children.

We are delighted to welcome Mr Richard Bates to our practice. Richard is an ophthalmology consultant latterly of Milton Keynes University Hospital who consults at our practice.

As an example, our instrumentation looks into the eye with a range of 200 degrees, even the most advanced scanning instruments from other opticians only manage 15 degrees.
